Four people were killed in a shooting during a party on Halloween, in Orinda, Calif., according to authorities.
“Orinda homicide update – four fatalities, several injuries,” tweeted the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s office.
NBC News Bay Area reported that at least four additional people were injured in the shooting. The shooting occurred around 11 p.m.
Witnesses told the TV station that the Halloween party took place in an Airbnb rental. They also said that attendees included students from a local college. These details were not confirmed by authorities.
