The world case toll for the novel coronavirus has hit 7 million according to the data compiled by the John-Hopkins university as at this morning. The university’s data showed that the global cases is currently at 7,132,732 with fatalities at 406,959. The number of recoveries topped 3,480,161.
The US remains the worst-hit country in the World with over 1.98 million infections, while its death toll exceeds 117,500. Brazil has the second-highest number of cases worldwide with more than 691,700, followed by Russia with around 467,000 and the UK with over 287,600 cases.
