The wife of the Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has called on Nigerians to consider her husband through the Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket to see if he manifests in this country as president or not.
According to news media Daily Trust, she said:
Let’s put religion aside; I am Christian. Do you ever think that one day there will be a Christian candidate? What would be the benchmark? We tried the Muslim-Christian ticket; try this one too, and after four years, if they don’t do well, you can kick them out.
It’s no longer news that there has been much controversy about Tinubu and his running mate running on the Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket, even though the ruling party has urged Nigerians to say religion doesn’t matter in electing a leader that can yield results.
