She said, “In the African setting, bride price payment is the right of the bride’s family, so ensure you give it to them. That you are a Christian does not override the payment of that which is due to the parents. However, I must mention that in the payment of the bride price, anything you know that will affect your Christian testimony should be done with discretion.”
