Shankolobo – All around the world + Ebajide

Steve ‘Shankolobo’ Asqiya is from Akwa Ibom state, Nigeria. A graduate of Theatre art from the University of Uyo and currently running my Masters degree program. Here are  two singles that are off his album named “Kalibonu Skiandayebo”.
The song Ebajide is a story surrounding a period in the African history when men were separated from their women for about a hundred and twenty five years.
At this period any form of sexual engagement between both sexes became a taboo and the penalty was death.
African men had made friends with the animals of the African forest which they later used as their closest means of espionage in the women’s kingdom
The only available way to end this tradition resulted in an abomination and it was time for a change to be accepted. The beats was made by Tino.
