As political campaigns trains continue to move through the nooks and crannies of the country ahead of the 2023 general elections, reactions have begun trailing a most recent social media post of the Labour Party in which it mocked the Kaduna Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai over the mammoth crowd that turned up in support of its presidential candidate, Peter Gregory Obi.

For those who are not aware, Obi and his running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed stormed the northern state of Kaduna on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, alongside other Labour Party bigwigs to flag off his presidential campaign in the region.

Taking to its verified Twitter handle a few hours ago, the Labour Party reacted to the large gathering of supporters at the rally by taking a jab at the governor of the state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, who incidentally, mocked Obi several months ago that if an ‘Obidient rally’ was organized in Kaduna, he would hardly get up to 200 people to attend.

Quite interestingly, the social media post has generated a flurry of mixed reactions from several Nigerians who trooped to the comments section to share their thoughts.

While some persons expressed pleasure at the crowd that turned up for the rally, others, however, insisted that the numbers were nothing to be joyful about.
