President Buhari returns to Abuja from Egypt

President Muhammadu Buhari has returned to Abuja after a trip to Egypt.

The presidential chopper, which flew him to Aso Rock Villa from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport; arrived in the evening.

Buhari had travelled to Egypt on Tuesday to attend the Aswan Forum on Peace and Development in Africa.

The event held from December 11 to December 12 in Aswan.

The aim of the forum was to “address the interconnections between peace and development in Africa; while promoting Africa-led solutions through strengthening policies and practices.”

Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, launched the initiative in his capacity; as the chairman of the African Union.

Buhari, in his address at the forum, said for Africa to progress; the continent must avoid and resolve the conflicts affecting its growth.
