Presidency: Okonjo-Iweala, Allison-Madueke Did Not Differ Over Subsidy Claim

The presidency has denied knowledge of any disagreement between the Coordinating Minister of the Economy and her counterpart in the ministry of petroleum over N1.3 trillion subsidy claims

Reports had indicated that the duo,  Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, and the Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke expressed different views over the issue.

It was said that Mrs. Allison-Madueke led an ensemble of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) to caution President Goodluck Jonathan of an imminent fuel scarcity in the country if the debt is not paid by the finance minister.
