‘Peter Obi Has Been In The Dark Since He Left Anambra Before Atiku Brought Him Into Light’ – Uloka Chukwubuike

Uloka Chukwubuike, Deputy Director of the media/publicity of the Atiku/Okowa campaign in Anambra state has claimed that the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi is on the frolics of his own as regards the 2023 election. Uloka claimed that Atiku felt betrayed after Peter Obi went to the Labour Party.

He argued that it was his boss, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who brought Peter Obi back to the political arena after he left Office as Governor in 2014. He alleged that Atiku fought against South East leaders and many leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party when he picked Obi as his running mate in 2019. Uloka believed that this should be a payback time from Obi to Atiku who revived his political career.

He said, ”Peter Obi is a former governor in Anambra state bit we don’t see him as a force in Anambra state. Infact, it was the PDP that made him and I also want to remind people that when Obi left Anambra state, his political career ended. He was lying low and he was nowhere to be found, he was in what we call political wilderness.

He has been in the dark since he left Anambra state before Atiku brought him into the limelight again. Atiku restored his political vibrancy and political image in that he’s dwelling upon. Atiku picked him as his running mate in 2019 against the wishes of Party leaders and elders across Southeast. It was Atiku who brought out his potential because even Peter Obi does not know his potential.”
