As the 2023 presidential race is fast approaching, political leaders have been reaching out to their loyalists across the country.
However, some leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, has predicted the chances of the party, winning the 2023 presidential race.
Among the leaders of the party, who has predicted Atiku’s chances of winning the 2023 presidential race, is the former senate president, Senator Bukola Saraki.
Senator Saraki stated this on Monday at a morning show programme on Arise TV. He made it known to the public that He did not see Atiku Abubakar, being sworn in as Nigeria president in 2023.
Saraki stated further that if the national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Senator Iyorchia Ayu still maintains the position of national chairman of the party, it will be difficult for the presidential candidate of the party to win the forthcoming election.
Another PDP leader who has predicted Atiku’s chances of winning the 2023 presidential race, is the spokesman of Atiku/Okowa presidential campaign, Hon Daniel Bwala.
Daniel Bwala in his own view predicted that Atiku will win the forthcoming presidential race, even without the support of G-5 Governors.
It was reported that Bwala stated this on Channels Sunrise Daily TV programme, where he made it known to the public, that non participation of the G-5 Governors in the forthcoming presidential race, will only affect the margin of the outcome of the election but Atiku will still win the forthcoming presidential race.
He stated further that, if for instance, the PDP presidential candidate of the party supposed to win with a margin of eight million votes, the party may eventually win with a margin of six million votes.
Bwala also added that Atiku’s victory is destined by God and no amount of conspiracy can affect his victory in the forthcoming presidential race.
It should be recalled, that Atiku Abubakar has not been able to settle his rifts with the aggrieved Governors of the PDP, led by the Governor of Rivers state, Governor Nyesom Wike.
Wike and other G-5 Governors had earlier called for the resignation of Senator Iyorchia Ayu, as national chairman of the party.
