The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday, April 3; revealed that six new cases of the coronavirus disease have been recorded in Osun State.
This brings the total number of cases now recorded in Nigeria to 190, according to NCDC.
The rise in cases in Osun has been attributed Nigerians who recently came back to the state from nearby Cote d’Ivoire.
Twelve states and Abuja have so reported at least a confirmed case of COVID-19 in Nigeria.
A total of 20 people have been discharged after recovering from the virus, while two have died.
Nigeria has been struggling to contain the spread of the disease as the number of confirmed cases continues to increase.
