Kaduna State Governor Picks Deputy
Kaduna state governor, Mukhtar Yero, has nominated the state PDP chairman, Nuhu Bajoga as his deputy. This latest development was confirmed by the State Commissioner for Information, Alhaji Saidu Adamu, on Monday after the governor met with principal officers of the state house of assembly.

He also confirmed that Bajoga’s name had been sent to the assembly for necessary screening.
The post of Deputy Governor became vacant in the state after Patrick Yakowa, the former governor of the state, died in a crash penultimate Saturday.
Prior to governor Yero’s latest choice of a deputy, Patrick Yakowa’s widow, Amina, was tipped for the position but this puts to rest the controversy surrounding the vacant seat even as some interests from Bugaje’s Southern Kaduna zone had kicked against his choice.
