The Federal Government has made clarifications on the reopening of schools, noting that Secondary schools and Tertiary institutions are still to be shut.
Recall that President Buhari had lifted the ban on academic activities and interstate movement after the PTF presented its report and suggestions on COVID-19 to him yesterday.
Making clarifications, however, the President’s New Media aide Bashir Ahmad noted in a tweet that both public and private secondary learning space and institutions of higher learning remain shut, until further announcement. It was revealed also that the President only lifted the ban on graduating classes (JSS 3 and SSS 3) and not all other classes.
“NB: Secondary and tertiary schools (public and private) to remain closed, until further announcement by the authorities”, Bashir Ahmad tweeted.
