APC Allegations Would Boost Atiku’s Victory, He Defeated Obasanjo Nine Times in Court — Shehu Says
Political Rights Activist, Mahdi Shehu has narrated how People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar defeated his erstwhile boss and former president Olusegun Obasanjo on nine different occasions when he was charged to court on alleged corruption.

Shehu made the statement when he featured on ARISE NEWS program tagged Prime Time which was anchored by Mr Charles Aniagolu.
He took his time on the program to react to allegations made spokesperson of Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Festus Keyamo alleging that Atiku should be arrested and send to jail by security operatives within 72hours.
He acknowledged that Michael Achimugu who leaked audio conversation APC built their allegations on was once an aide of former Vice President, Atiku.
He described Keyamo’s stand as illegality, he Keyamo supposed to call for thorough investigation of his allegations before issuing such an ultimatum.
Shehu said the allegations made Keyamo would not dampened the morale of Atiku’s camp but rather make them strong and boost Atiku’s victory at the poll.
While reacting to the decision of the G-5 Governors not supporting the emergence of Atiku Abubakar as presidential candidate of PDP in the 2023 general elections, Shehu appealed to them to retrace their steps and put party’s interest above personal interest.
