Add Datti’s Age And Mine, Divide It By 2 And We Will Be In Our 50s, Can’t Say Same For Others – Obi

The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi has said that the 2023 presidential race should be for those who are mentally and physically healthy.

The former governor of Anambra state said this during his speech at the party’s presidential campaign flag-off in Kaduna state today and according to him, he and his vice presidential candidate fit into the category of those who have the mental and physical energy. Obi told the crowd that if you add his game and that of his vice and then divide it by 2, they would still be in their 50s but one cannot say the same for the other presidential candidates. In his own words…

“This race requires those with physical and mental energy, I and Datti have this energy. Look at our chairman, the chairman of APC is 75 years old, and the Chairman of PDP is 70 years old, but ours is 52. If you put Datti’s age and mine together and divide it into two, we will be in our 50s. But for the others, if you put their age together and divide, they will be 70, and the last people we don’t even know their age.”

“We promise you that a new Nigeria is possible under us. Nigeria needs those who are committed, we want people who have compassion, if you see what Datti is doing to help those in need, you’d be amazed. I spent Christmas in IDP camps and I spent my new year with those in IDP camps. I spoke with them and told them that as long as they are in IDP camps, Nigeria is in an IDP camp. So we want all these to stop, this race is about people with compassion and empathy.”
