A couple of weeks ago, Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus was dragged on social media for allegedly engaging in a giveaway fraud. Gathered that the actress incident affected the mental health of the actress.
Recall that the voluptuous actress was called out for reportedly holding on to a sponsor’s N500, 000 that she was given to share to some needy social media users.
She reportedly refused to disburse the fund after the sponsor refused to pay her N150,000 for the giveaway services.
This earned her intense criticism across various social media platforms.
Her relationship with the alleged sponsor also dipped after she claimed to have blocked him on Instagram.
Although Eniola Badmus later cleared the air on the issue on her Instagram page.
In her defence, ‘sending money to 100 people is tasking’, 1st News gathered that she was disturbed and the turn of the incident affected her mental health badly.
A liable source revealed that the 43-year-old actress has been struggling ever since.
“She was down that period o. She felt bad and it wasn’t easy.
No body wanted to hear her own side of the story or even listen to her. She was painted black. She cried and it really affected her mental health,” the source said.
A Twitter Influencer, Bimbo Cash, who called her out took to the microblogging platform to apologize to her after Eniola reached out to her on how it affected her mental health.
“I made a tweet about BadmusEniola days ago, it went viral, She has reached out to me about how this affected her. I have deleted the tweet immediately and also apologized.
Mental health is something I take very seriously. Once again, I apologise sis” She wrote.
