On Wednesday afternoon, Nigerian recording artiste, David Adeleke aka Davido has published the letter he composed for his late mother, Veronica Adeleke when he was much younger.
In the heartwarming note, Davido expressed how he loved his mother. He revealed how much he desired her presence following her demise in 2003, he also says he missed her so much.
The superstar singer who expressed his love for his mother in the letter captioned the photo he shared “Look what I found, Sweet mother.”
Here is what the younger version of Davido wrote at the time;
How much I love you, and how much love you gave to me.
Despite my stubbornness, you are there to correct me.
I miss your warm hugs, lovely kisses and your lovely smile.
You are a rare mother.
You are one in a million; Mum, you will always be on my mind.
Rest in Peace mum.
Your loving son,

Davido also a throwback photo of his mother and himself.
Davido lost his mother in 2003 when he was just a kid.
Equally important, he was born in Atlanta and raised in Lagos.
He made his music debut as a member of the music group KB International. The singer studied business administration at Oakwood University before dropping out to make beats and record vocal references.
The singer rose to fame in 2011 with the release of “Dami Duro“, the second single from his debut studio album Omo Baba Olowo (2012).
In 2012, he won The Headies Award for Next Rated.
He is one of the most successful artists to emerge from Nigeria in the 21st century.
Between 2013 and 2015, he also released the hit singles “Gobe“, “One of a Kind“, “Skelewu“, “Aye”, “Tchelete (Goodlife)” featuring Mafikizolo, “Naughty” featuring DJ Arafat, “Owo Ni Koko“, “The Sound” and “The Money” featuring Olamide.
