Actor, Ernest Asuzu is now a beggar | VIDEO

Veteran Nollywood actor, Ernest Asuzu has reportedly become a beggar and he is currently battling stroke.

Ernest Asuzu who gained prominence as a Nollywood bad boy in the late ’90s and early 2000s was seen in a mall in Lagos. According to the altruistic witness who shared a video of the actor on social media; he met Asuzu begging at Just Right Supermarket, Isolo, Lagos.

The witness is identified as Bolingo 2014. The young man expressed his disappointment in Nollywood actors and berated their inability to cater to their former superstar.

The concerned good Samaritan identified as Bolingo slammed Nollywood saying the industry is a  huge disgrace as he was shocked to see the veteran actor in such emaciated state.

He noted that the artisans in the industry have turned a blind eye towards Asuzu’s ailment.

In his prime, Asuzu was a vibrant actor, however, he wasn’t looking too good in the new video that surfaced online. The ailing actor was captured shirtless, as he confirmed the details in tears.

On Sunday, January 26, 2020, Ernest Asuzu was spotted topless rocking a blue jean pants and bathroom slippers, at Just Right Super Market, Isolo begging for alms to feed.

Ernest Asuzu suffered a stroke sometime in 2015.

In a video that surfaced online in 2016, the veteran actor was healed by Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, Warri, Delta state.

The actor suffered a partial stroke after spending one year in Mercyland. Despite the miracle that took place at the time, his health has since relapsed.

The man of God also gave the actor a car worth N3.5m, and a parting sum of N1.5m to start up a new life.
