Leroy Sane believes Manchester United defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah is one of the toughest opponents he has ever faced.
The United academy graduate is on loan at Crystal Palace this season in a bid to improve his chances of success at Old Trafford .
And although Roy Hodgson’s side have struggled this season, Fosu-Mensah has turned in a number of solid performances sure to impress Jose Mourinho .
Possibly his best display for Palace came against Manchester City in December, when the 20-year-old Dutchman was named Man of the Match as his side held Pep Guardiola’s men to a goalless draw.
Fosu-Mensah was marking Sane, and was so effective at shackling the German winger that Guardiola demanded he switched flanks.
And Sane has not forgotten how difficult he found facing the United youngster.
